CHAI Memory and Sleep Study
This research study is examining the effects of targeted magnetic brain stimulation on deep sleep and cognitive function.
You may be eligible if you:
• Are between the age of 60 and 85
• Experience difficulties with memory or managing daily tasks
• Have no history of recurrent seizures or epilepsy
• Are not taking psychiatric or sleep medications
The study involves two visits to the sleep lab at Western Psychiatric Hospital, including one 3-hour daytime visit and two consecutive overnight sessions. During this time, you will complete paper and computer cognitive tests, two 20-minute MRI brain scans, and one 37-minute magnetic brain stimulation session.
This study is open to recruitment.
