We have two regular research meetings and talks that provide oppurtunities for education and to meet fellow researchers interested in sleep and circadian rhythms. These include:

Research in Progress Meeting:

This is a regular meeting designed to be a supportive venue for trainees and faculty to present study ideas and/or on-going data analyses. A polished task is not required; this presentation series is called Research In Progress for a reason. The Research In Progress meeting is usually scheduled at 1 PM on Wednesdays in WPIC E-1135. Contact Dr.Peter Franzen to ask questions about the meeting, to express interest in presenting, or to be added to the e-mail distribution list.

Sleep Medicine Institute Grand Rounds:

This is a regular meeting designed to bring together a multidisciplanary audience with interests in sleep talks ranging from formal research presentations, to clinically-focused topics, to discussions of a grant idea or newly funded study, to journal club presentations. Attendees typically include faculty and trainees from the Psychiatry to Pulmonary departments; but all are welcome. Sleep Grand Rounds are held on Thursdays at 4 PM in the Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine Conference room, NW628, Montefiore Hospital. Contact Dr.Tica Hall to ask questions about the meeting, to express interest in presenting, or to be added to the e-mail distribution list.
