“Role of Sleep in Cardiometabolic Health: From Life’s Simple 7 to Life’s Essential 8”

I will discuss how sleep duration became an accepted metric to track in assessing cardiometabolic health, alongside long-term established lifestyle behaviors like smoking, weight, diet quality, and physical activity and physiological markers like glucose, cholesterol, and blood pressure.
